Event Details

"How do I get my idea off the ground?"

"How can I save time and money?"

"How can I flourish personally?

"How can I get the best from my team of volunteers?"

Where can I source further resources and support?

Join this workshop to explore these and many other questions by sharing tools, tips and approaches for innovating at ‘the edge’. Discover (mostly) free, time-saving ways to organise, scale and inspire your work.

Free 30 minute one-on-one consultancies will be offered after the workshop (between 1 - 5pm) for anyone with a not-for-profit idea/project (including social enterprise) they would like to explore. Bookings to be made on the day.

Feel free to bring pens, paper, laptops and lots of questions! We are hoping to have a wireless connection set up (event hashtag is #PAday), but please bring your own wireless connections if you have them. Tea, coffee and morning tea provided.

"Donnie Maclurcan's 'Tips for building ideas, projects & networks' workshop provided us with a fountain of knowledge and information that would otherwise have taken months to research and compile. His laid-back, friendly approach enabled us to feel comfortable straight away and provided all participants from a variety of fields with opportunities to network together. Donnie brought his own experiences to the table and shared his pearls of wisdom generously. On completion of the workshop it felt like some ground had really been covered" Jennie Bradbury, Babushka Productions, 2009

“If you want to make something happen, the journey starts with Project Australia.” Ravi Prasad, Founder, Friends with Things

Limited seats, so book your place now!

All proceeds go to Project Australia, with this workshop one of the avenues it offers to help people start and build community projects.
